Future sport. Is it possible to construct new experiences with a mixed core of remnants of the past? This project explores these notions through the construction of a sport based in the future. Future sport. The intention was to create an experience using only fragmentary pieces of past participation and knowledge. Through the use of archetypal athletic vernacular, atmospheric photography, and typography speaking both to the past and the future, a sporting event of the future is born.

In exploring notions of ubiquitous athletic vernacular, the emphasis was on taking elements of the forgotten or all too familiar and shifting the experience of them. Taking something with existing associations and perceptions and altering ones orientation.
